Count Riario is one of Rome’s strongest supporters. His religious fervor makes him dangerous, he truly believes in the cause he is fighting for and will go to any lengths to ensure its success. Dangerously alike to Leonardo in some ways, but fatally different, the two men are bound by the time they live in and the society they are born into. Riario is both wary and fascinated by da Vinci’s genius and is determined to harness it to achieve his own ends.
